Morning: On your arrival in Almaty, you will be greeted by our local representative. Transfer to your hotel and check-in.
Afternoon: Start with a relaxing visit to the Almaty Botanical Garden, a peaceful green space with a variety of plants, trees, and flowers. It’s a nice spot for a leisurely walk and reflection on your trip.
Spend the rest of the day exploring Zhibek Zholy, a popular pedestrian street with shops, cafes, and street performers. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy the city’s atmosphere
Evening: Dinner at a traditional Kazakh restaurant and enjoy local specialties.
Morning: Start your day with a trip to Big Almaty Lake, located about 30 km from the city. This stunning alpine lake is surrounded by mountains and is a perfect spot for photography and nature walks. Remember to dress warmly, as temperatures can be cooler at the lake.
Afternoon: Continue your journey to Shymbulak Ski Resort, located above the Medeu Skating Rink. Take the cable car up to the resort and then further up to Shymbulak Lake, a smaller but beautiful alpine lake located at a high altitude. The area is ideal for hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter. Enjoy lunch at one of the restaurants at Shymbulak, taking in the stunning mountain views.
Evening: Head back to Almaty in the evening. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant, where you can try traditional Kazakh dishes like beshbarmak (boiled meat with noodles) or manti (steamed dumplings).
Morning: Start your day by exploring Panfilov Park, a peaceful green space dedicated to the memory of the Panfilov heroes, soldiers who fought in World War II. The park is a serene spot for a morning walk. While in Panfilov Park, visit Zenkov Cathedral, a beautiful wooden Russian Orthodox church. The cathedral is one of the few pre-Soviet buildings in the city and is known for its vibrant colors and unique architecture.
Afternoon: Head to the Green Bazaar, a lively market where you can experience local life. Browse through stalls selling fresh fruits, nuts, spices, and traditional Kazakh snacks. It's also a great place to shop for souvenirs. Visit the Almaty Museum to learn about the city’s history and culture. The museum offers a comprehensive overview of Almaty's past and its role in Kazakhstan's development.
Evening: Take the cable car to Kok Tobe Hill for panoramic views of Almaty and the surrounding mountains. The hill features restaurants, a small amusement park, and the famous Beatles statue. Enjoy dinner with a view at one of the restaurants on the hill.
Morning: Visit the Central State Museum to delve into Kazakhstan’s history, culture, and ethnography. The museum's exhibits include traditional clothing, weapons, and artifacts from Kazakhstan’s past. Explore Republic Square, home to the Independence Monument and the Presidential Palace. This square is a significant place for political events and ceremonies in Kazakhstan.
Afternoon: Spend the afternoon exploring Arbat Street, a popular pedestrian zone lined with shops, cafes, and street artists. It's a great place for a leisurely walk and to pick up local art or souvenirs. If you’re interested in the arts, visit the Almaty Opera House, a stunning building that hosts performances of opera, ballet, and classical music. Check the schedule in advance if you want to catch a performance.
Evening: Enjoy dinner at one of Almaty's fine dining restaurants. You can try local Kazakh cuisine or international dishes, as Almaty offers a wide variety of dining options.
This morning enjoy breakfast at the hotel, check-out and take your private transfer to the airport.
