Departing your hotel, we travel through the historic Rocks precinct & cruise over the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge. After winding our way through the leafy Northern Suburbs and escaping through the brilliant sandstone outcrops of Ku-ring-gai National Park, we reach the mighty Hawkesbury River where we will stop to enjoy a light morning tea before continuing to Hunter region. Descending into the Hunter Valley, perched atop of the Brokenback Mountain Ranges, we arrive at Audrey Wilkinson for your first wine tasting of the day. Experience 150 years of winemaking excellence, before we make our way to the small family operated winery & vineyards at Keith Tulloch to experience a selection of up to 8 wines.
Next, immerse yourself in the picturesque views, while you enjoy a 2-course lunch showcasing a selection of fine local produce. Sit back, relax & sip on a glass of beer, wine, or soft drink before we recommence the remainder of the afternoon. Your next superb tasting of the day will take place at the premium cellar door of Pigs Peake. This modern, state of the art winery, processes grapes from vineyards dating back to the 1800’s; wonderfully combining a new winery & old vines. As the day draws to an end, you have experienced the chance to chat to the owners, admire their cottage locations and indulge in the best of their vintages. We now return to Sydney via the scenic freeway to conclude this relaxing and enjoyable day

This stunning wine region is only a leisurely 50mins drive from Melbourne's CBD. The day begins with an invigorating wellness experience called Fire & Ice as you learn and experience the key health benefits of hot and cold therapy under the guidance of trained instructors during the workshop. After the Fire & Ice experience we journey out into nature on a guided adventure to some of the most majestic natural rock pools you could ever imagine where you can put into practice what you have learnt bathing and refreshing your mind and body surrounded by wild ocean vistas. Taste some of the best local produce the region has to offer with a delicious picnic lunch at a spectacular ocean viewpoint. The afternoon is all about relaxation as you head back to the Peninsula Hot Springs to bathe and discover the over 50 bathing experiences surrounded by native trees and the sounds of running water and birdlife.

Morning: After Breakfast, depart at 08:00 am. After a pickup from your city hotel, we travel over the infamous Westgate Bridge towards Victoria's south-west coast. We pass through Geelong, the second largest city in Victoria, before reaching the start of the Great Ocean Road in Torquay. Our first stop for the day is at Anglesea where we observe wild grey kangaroos at the local golf club. Lorne is our next stop for some morning tea and a chance to take in the beauty of the Southern Ocean and surrounding foothills. While winding along this cliff hugging road your guide show you many scenic lookouts and introduce you to the stories behind its creation. A stop at Kennett River allows you the opportunity to see koalas in their natural environment as well as many colourful native birds.
Lunch brings us to the seaside village of Apollo Bay to enjoying some of the gourmet local produce. On our way through the Otway Ranges we make a stop to enjoy a walk through a cool temperate rainforest gully. This forest dates back millions of years to the times that dinosaurs wandered this region. In 1987, a new species of Dinosaur called Leaellynasuara, dating back 100 million years was found on the coastline at Rotten Point. There is also evidence of Aboriginal tribes living of the land in the form of shell middens dating back over 10,000 years. We explain some of the history, culture and conflict that has a resonance with the battles of native peoples world wide. We arrive at the Shipwreck Coast and visit the Icons of the Twelve Apostles. Here your guide will explain their creation and constant reformation while you get photos and even take a helicopter ride. We then visit 'Loch Ard Gorge', the site of the most famous 19th century Australian shipwreck. We retell the entire story from the calm voyage, the tragic wreck, the courageous survivors and their ultimate fate. While hearing the tale you will be able to see and hold some original artefacts, photos and documents from the 'Loch Ard’ contained in our treasure chests. We then turn for Melbourne traveling through some of Australia's most fertile land and the worlds third largest Volcanic plain. We arrive back in Melbourne around 1900.

Afternoon: Visit the scenic Atherton Tablelands, rich in bio diversity, an area that features a range of habitats including lush tropical rainforest and volcanic crater lakes. Enjoy an Afternoon Tea at the world renowned, Lake Barrine. During our adventure by day we may see the Musky Rat Kangaroo, Boyds Forest Dragon, a selection of rainforest birds, butterflies and Flying Foxes. At dusk we venture to the viewing area by the river to search for the Platypus, one of the most unique mammals on earth. After dinner at a local country restaurant, our night time spotlighting adventure begins. As we walk under the night stars, and into the World Heritage Rainforest, we may be lucky enough to spot a Lumholtzs Tree Kangaroo, Northern Leaf Tailed Gecko, Ringtail Possums, gliders, frogs, owls and more (most are endemic to the region). Every night is full of discoveries. Later, on the trip home, we can reflect on what we have seen, and return with an increased appreciation of Australian Wildlife and the World Heritage Rainforests of North Queensland. (1.00 pm to 9.30 pm)

Embark on a scenic cruise from Port of Airlie, stopping at Daydream Island and HamiltonIsland to collect more guests before discovering the Southern end of the pristine 7km stretch of silica sand at Whitehaven Beach. Once on the beach, you will experience a diverse range of beach activities including swimming, hiking, beach games and stand-up paddle boarding, or simply relax and enjoy this world-famous icon for up to two hours. The turquoise waters of the Great Barrier Reef are breathtaking – but dip below the surface and another world will greet you. Teeming with bright tropical fish and more than 1,400 species of marine life and coral. Snorkel, swim, dive and explore – an encounter with this World Heritage-listed wonder is truly unforgettable. Cruise through the gorgeous Whitsunday Islands to our permanently moored Reefworld pontoon, located 39 nautical miles from shore at Hardy Reef. Jump right in with a snorkel and explore the reef, or if you’d prefer to stay dry, head to the underwater observatory or take a guided semi-submarine tour. Complete your Reefworld experience with a delicious buffet lunch and, as the day fades into sunset, you’ll head home with lifelong memories of one of the world’s natural wonders, the Great Barrier Reef.
